Central Kitsap Cross Country | Fall Sports Preview

Central Kitsap Cross Country

Head coach: Jeremy Duplissey

Key runners (boys): Jamal Chandler, Daniel Lizon, Seth Tower, Teich Fischer, Dawson Fourier, Kal-El Drummond, Simon Stainbrook.

Key runners (girls): Maya Nichols, Taylor Nichols, Rissa Eilmes, Kara Shepard, Madeline Shetler, Hailey Hall, Aaliya Chandler.

Outlook: The girls are the defending district champions and the Nichols sisters should help lead the path back to a repeat. Their top six runners all return and they’ve even brought in a few additions from the district’s middle schools. After finishing in the top ten at state last season, they’re looking for a top five finish and possibly a podium. The boys team also returns most of its runners from its second place district team. They are looking to finish at the top of the podium at district and are also aiming for the top ten at state.
