Bremerton Girls Golf | Spring Sports Preview

2016-17 RECORD: 5-4

TOP RETURNING PLAYERS: Alyssa Ronquillo, senior; Lily Gelhaus, junior; Lucy Holloway, junior; Madeline Bassett, sophomore; Lilly Root, junior; Shen Stewart, sophomore.

OUTLOOK: Two state tournament competitors return this spring for Bremerton’s girls golf program that finished with a 5-4 overall record in 2017. Head coach Lance McCoy realized that mistakes are going to happen every season, but his top goal is to improve his athletes’ mental game. “It’s important to have a short memory and move on to the next championship shot,” he said. The two state qualifiers from last season are aiming to place higher and last longer in the tournament this year.
