Maile Lueck has been one of Klahowya’s best athletes since the day she set foot on campus.
A diminutive, but tough-as-nails leader, it’s not unusual to see Lueck flinging herself around the court to get to hard spikes or loose balls. Whether she’s in uniform for the volleyball, basketball or softball team, Lueck never gives less than 110 percent.
Best known for being arguably the best volleyball libero in the West Sound, Lueck is currently in her final year participating in basketball as a starting guard. She is averaging six points, six rebounds and three steals per game.
