Yvonne June Taff passed away on December 21, 2020 at Life Care Center of Skagit Valley, Sedro Woolley. She was born on June 19, 1936 in Richardton, ND to John Frederick and Anna Mary Holland. Yvonne liked to go by the nickname “Dolly” that her father gave her at a young age because she had curly hair and he said she looked like a little doll. Her family moved to Port Orchard, WA, early in her life.

She was content being a homemaker and raising her daughter, Vicki Ann Powers-Stiles and son William (Bill) Howard Taff Jr. Yvonne was an avid reader and loved all animals, especially her kitties. She loved doing puzzles and was really good at them. You could usually find her with a smile on her face, unless it was time to take her medicine.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Vicki Ann Powers-Stiles and husband Gary, and Bill Taff Jr; grandson Stephen Nathaniele Powers and his wife, Kaylee; and her great grandson, Trenton Nathaniele Powers; one sister, Jacqueline Lee (Holland) Myrick and her husband Bradford.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the amazing tem at Life Care Center of Skagit Valley for their excellent care and compassion. They were always making sure she had what she needed to continue to be active, productive and happy. For their sense of humor, for always taking the time to talk with her, tease her, and put a smile on her face, especially during these times of Covid. You are very special to us.
