May 23, 1968 - March 9, 2021

Scott Alan Pennington was born May 23, 1968, to Mosco and Kathy Pennington in Bellflower, CA.

Scott was married to Jaymie Anderson on May 27, 2000 in N. California. While in Washington, they welcomed their three precious children, Reagan, Kaitlyn, and Myrra Joy. They were Scott’s most prized life achievement.

He has been Senior Pastor at Kingston Christian Church in Kingston since 2009. The members of his church were like a second family. As he told them when he first arrived at Kingston Christian Church, “You’re going to love me because I’m going to love you”. Scott also deeply loved the members of his community and world by volunteering as a Chaplain for the North Kitsap Fire and Rescue and as chairman of the board at ACTION International Ministries.

He confidently entered the arms of his loving Savior on March 9th, 2021, while holding his wife’s hand.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Jaymie (Anderson) whom he ardently loved, and his three children, Reagan (16 yrs), Kaitlyn (13 yrs), and Myrra (9 yrs); his parents, Mosco and Kathleen (McCarty) Pennington of Redding, CA; his sisters, Laurie (Rick) Hetherington of Bend, OR; and Sharon (Loren) Odonley of Ft.
