Rose Willis Simsak

Rose Willis Simsak, daughter of Tara and Carol Willis Simsak of Bainbridge Island, was stillborn on Nov. 15 at Harrison Hospital in Silverdale.

She was 1.5 pounds and 11-1/2 inches long, with her mama’s jet-black hair.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Nathaniel Willis Buechler and David Willis Simsak; grandparents, Nathalie and Martin Simsak of Bainbridge Island, and Norman Willis of Tucson, Arizona; great-grandmother Rose Simsak of Bethlehem, Pa.; and aunts and uncles, Kathryn Willis and Carrie Tavares, Jennifer Willis, Jamie and Saeko Simsak, Andrew Simsak and Cynthia Randolph.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bainbridge Island Special Needs Foundation in the name of Rose Willis Simsak, P.O. Box 10919, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. The organization operates Stephens House, providing support, education, outreach and work opportunities for profoundly disabled young adults.
