John H. Weedon, 63

John H. Weedon of Hansville died July 5, 2004 in Hansville. He was 63.

Weedon was born to Ralph A. and Mary G. (Marks) Weedon in Caldwell, Idaho on July 27, 1940.

He married Marsha J. Hunt on June 7, 1963 in Caldwell, Idaho.

Weedon graduated from Caldwell High School in Caldwell, Idaho in 1958.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a radio operations specialist and MP from 1958-1964, achieving the rank of lance corporal.

Later, Weedon worked as a route salesman for the food industry until his retirement in 2002.

He enjoyed Bible study, hunting, good conversation, cooking and reading. He was a Christian.

Weedon is survived by his wife Marsha J. (Hunt) Weedon of Hansville; son Justin H. (Pam) Weedon of Orting; daughters Mishara L. (Brian) Junkin of Poulsbo and Bobbi K. Weedon of Poulsbo; brother Ronald Weedon of Chandron, Neb.; sister Carol Jacobson of McCall, Idaho; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph A. and Mary G. (Marks) Weedon.

A memorial service was held July 9 at Bremerton United Methodist Church. Arrangements were under the direction of The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo.
