Jean Johnson Attebery Neumann passed away at home in Federal Way after a brief illness. Jean was born in Alliance Nebraska in 1927 to Malcolm J. Johnson and Christine Fenning Johnson. She was 91 at the time of her death.
Jean graduated from Weiser High School, Idaho in 1945 and spent her early years living in the Treasure Valley Idaho area. Jean moved to Port Orchard in 1962. She worked at Safeway in Port Orchard for several years and upon her retirement, she moved back to Payette, Idaho and spent 25 years remodeling her home, trying new recipes, growing a wonderful garden and reading lots of books.
Jean is survived by her children, Roxy Dysert (John), Federal Way, Jeff Attebery (Janet) Parma, Idaho and Brenda Ambrosini (Tony) Greensboro, MD, her sisters Virginia Johnson and Joan Bjornson, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Wayne Johnson and her sister Marion Gidlow.
Jean lived her life the way she wanted and per her request, on January 19 her ashes were released in Puget Sound.
