Irene Maki King, age 96, went to be with her Lord on September 5, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Arne in 1992. Irene remarried in 2006 to Vernon King. He passed away in 2007. Irene is survived by her sister Vivian, and four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Irene was a loving and supportive mother and skilled homemaker. She brought joy and encouragement to those around her. A member of Daughters of Norway, she enjoyed her heritage and loved baking Norwegian delicacies.

A private celebration of her life will be held at Clearbrook Inn, Silverdale, on September 27 at 2:00PM. Memorial gifts in Irene’s name may be sent to Children’s Orthopedic Hospital or Fishline Poulsbo .
