Elsie Adams, 94

Poulsbo resident Elsie Adams died Nov. 23, 2005 in Poulsbo. She was 94.

She was born to Fred Blair and Ollie Emily (Hildebrand) in Malden, Ill. on Feb. 24, 1911.

Adams married Robert Henry Adams on June 15, 1927 in Oberlin, Kan.

She was employed as a clerk at JC Penny’s before retiring.

In her early years, Adams enjoyed golfing and tennis. In her latter years, she enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her daughter Betty Tobin; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Adams was preceded in death by her husband and her grandson Michael Tobin.

No formal services will be held. Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations can be sent to Martha & Mary Lutheran Services, P.O. Box 127, Poulsbo, WA 98370.
