Dean William Peterson, 54

Kingston resident Dean William Peterson died March 30, 2004 in Kingston. He was 54.

Peterson was born to Gordon and Margit I. (Mezo) Peterson in Seattle on Nov. 29, 1949.

He married Dilys E. Milne-Jones on March 17, 2001 in Sequim.

Peterson graduated from Shorecrest High School in Seattle in 1968 and attended Washington State University in Pullman.

He worked in the construction trade for more than 30 years.

His enjoyed building, including constructing his own home.

Peterson is survived by his wife, Dilys E. (Milne-Jones) Peterson of Kingston; sons Matthew Peterson of La Jolla, Calif. and Bradley Peterson of Bend, Ore.; brothers Bruce F. (Carole Aaron) Peterson of Seattle, Paul R. (Karen) Peterson of Edmonds, Ladd C. (Sylvia) Peterson of Suquamish and James A. (Debbie) Peterson of Kirkland; sister Sari M. (Bruce McDanel) Peterson of Manchester; and father Gordon Peterson of Seattle.

He was preceded in death by his mother Margit I. (Mezo) Peterson.

Services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo.
