Darren James Wall

Aug. 17, 1965 – March 14, 2019

Darren Wall’s Homecoming Darren James Wall left us and escaped this mortal realm on Thursday March 14, 2019 at the age of 53. We would like to believe that Darren was so enjoying his vacation in Cabo Mexico that he decided to stay and watch the peaceful waves of the ocean and stay forever young in our hearts and minds. Darren is survived by his mother, Judith D. Wall, Sister Brenda Wall, Sister Candace Wetzel and Brother-in-Law Steve Wetzel, Brother/Best Friend Greg Wall and Sister-in-law Shannon Wall. Additionally, he leaves behind his love/life partner and family, Kristine Carmona, daughter Megan Carmona and son James Carmona, as well as two other sons and a daughter whom he loved very much. Darren also loved his many nephews and nieces and was so proud of all their accomplishments and the fine people they are. Darren grew up with his mom, grandmother and siblings in Kittitas, WA and graduated from Kittitas High School in 1983. Even before graduating Darren proudly joined the Marines and forever lived Semper Fi. After serving his active duty and during his time in the Marine Reserves, Darren moved to the Seattle area where he met many lifelong friends and attended Olympic College. Eventually taking a position with Puget Sound Naval Shipyard/ DDPW, where he would rise through the ranks over the next 27 years becoming the Woodworker Supervisor. Darren so loved his family and good friends as well as his varied spectrum of hobbies and interests. Darren’s hobbies and interests included coffee (drinking as well as roasting for his sister), prospecting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, target shooting, hiking, camping, traveling, going to concerts and scuba diving. Darren was proud to be a veteran, of his service to his country and would light up talking about his days in the military. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved playing video games, a good meal as well as a good beer. Darren was generous and kind and he will be forever loved and missed by many. Although there will be no formal services, friends and family will meet for a potluck in order to celebrate the life of Darren James Wall and share their stories of a life well lived. There will be two separate occasions to meet: Westside: May 4th 2019 – 12:00 at Scenic Beach State Park in Seabeck, WA.
