Daniel P. Gannon

Daniel Patrick Gannon of Poulsbo died April 17. He was 52.

Gannon was born to Patrick J. Gannon and Frances V. Gothman in Spokane on Jan. 1, 1951.

He married Darlene Gannon in 1994 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Gannon attended Gonzaga Prep High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1972. He became a golf professional and managed pro-shops, taught and competed in Palm Springs, Calif., from 1973-1980. He returned to Spokane and worked for Hoffman Music then moved to Seattle and worked for Brooks McNight Chevrolet in Bellevue. In 1994, he moved to Issaquah and later to Poulsbo to establish Big Valley Espresso with his wife Darlene.

He enjoyed coaching his kids, Deven and Jenna, and was very supportive in their lives. He also enjoyed playing amateur golf and fishing on his boat in the Puget Sound.

Gannon is survived by his wife Darlene Gannon of Poulsbo; son Devin of Poulsbo; daughter Jenna of Poulsbo; brother Bern Gannon of Spokane; and sister Karen Romberg of Spokane.

Gannon was preceded in death by his mother Frances Colliton.

Services were held in Kingston at the Kingston Christian Church and officiated by Ken Lundgren, associate pastor, on May 4.
