Craig M. Dean lost his battle with cancer on Jan. 25, 2019. He was born in SLC, Utah on July 16, 1951, to Helen and Myron Dean. He is survived by wife Laura, his children Cory Dean and Michelle Fulcher, his grandchildren Ally, Dawson and Calen, and his siblings Susan Hine and Scott Dean. Craig lived in Port Orchard for nearly 40 years. He was active in local sports, coaching baseball, soccer and some basketball for many years. He refereed soccer, spending 19 years as president of Kitsap Peninsula Soccer Referee Association. His passion was encouraging people to be the best they could be, thru sports.

He owned and ran Recognition Plus for many years, and enjoyed retirement; golfing, fishing, camping and snow birding to Arizona for the last 8 winters.

In lieu of flowers, Craig requested donations to American Cancer Society.
