Bernard ‘Bud’ Brazeau, 74

Kingston resident Bernard E. “Bud” Brazeau died Dec. 2, 2004 in Kingston. He was 74.

He was born to Bernard S. and Edna M. (Miller) Brazeau in Osseo, Wis. on March 23, 1930.

Brazeau married Elaine Evjen on Aug. 6, 1949 in Poulsbo.

He was raised and educated in North Kitsap.

Brazeau was a marine engineer who worked for the Foss Tug Co. and Washington State Ferries. He also worked for Kingston Lumber and owned and operated Brazeau Mobile Home Park.

He was a Catholic.

Brazeau is survived by his wife Elaine Brazeau of Kingston; sons Allan (Jayne) Brazeau and Kenneth (Vicky) Brazeau, both of Kingston; daughter Ann (Jerry) Mecham of Kingston; brother James Brazeau of Kingston; sisters twin Bernice Hobson of Arizona, Smiles Germeau of Centralia and Becky Winsor of Yacalt; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Dec. 7 at The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove. Graveside services were held at the Kingston Cemetery.
