Aldis L. Andrejevs, 63

Aldis L. Andrejevs of Seattle died Jan. 18, 2007 in Seattle. He was 63.

Andrejevs was born to in Riga, Latvia on March 30, 1943.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962 and received a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Washington.

He worked at the Bangor submarine base for 30 years before his retirement in 2006.

He was an avid traveller, sports fanatic and rose garden enthusiast.

Andrejevs is survived by son Markus Andrejevs and his companion Osha Mendonca of Seattle; daughter Daira L. (Mark) Anderson of Mill Creek; and sisters Vaira (Heber) Kennedy of Olympia and Rasma Apsitis of Langley.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N., Seattle.
