Woman wanted on felony warrant arrested outside of Wenatchee

The search for 35-year-old transient woman, Sarah Kay Ledbetter, who was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant, is now over after she was arrested approximately five miles outside the Wenatchee city limits.

Ledbetter was detained by Chelan County Sheriff’s patrol deputies at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, June 15 after they had been dispatched for a welfare check of an adult female reportedly acting erratically in unincorporated Chelan County. When deputies arrived, she was reportedly lying in the roadway screaming, a Facebook post from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office states.

The suspect was booked into the Chelan County Regional Jail on the warrant and she will be extradited to Kitsap County to face charges of harassment and threats to kill.
