Winter storm warning in effect through afternoon Feb. 6

POULSBO – The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for our region through 4 p.m. Feb. 6.

The weather service forecasts possible snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches. Snow is expected to increase late Feb. 5 and continue off and on through afternoon the next day.

“Roads and sidewalks will be snow covered and very slippery,” the weather service reports. “Travel will be very difficult, especially during the Monday morning commute. Delays may be significant.”

The weather service recommends traveling only in emergencies. “If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of emergency.”
