Wave Broadband hiking monthly TV service rates

Wave Broadband will be adjusting the retail price of some of its video services beginning July 1.

Wave Broadband will be adjusting the retail price of some of its video services beginning July 1.

The monthly rate for Wavebandbeginningded content channel tier, and any packages that include the service, will be increased by $1.05 a month.

Cyndi Wikstrom of Wave Broadband said the rate increase is due to annual programming cost increases from  networks owned by CBS, Disney/ESPN, Fox, regional sports programmers and independent channel providers.

Waveband Broadband is franchised with the City of Port Orchard.
