Washington State for Public Safety to benefit from Slippery Pig Brewery event and auction

On April 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. the Slippery Pig Brewery will be welcoming visitors for a silent auction to benefit Washington State for Public Safety.

For each pint of beer sold, $1 will go toward the group’s legal fund. Washington State for Public Safety formed late last year in response to the revelation of several high-risk sex offenders living together in a privately operated residence along Viking Way in Poulsbo. Auction items include a sundown sail, boat tour of Liberty Bay, Keyport and Port Madison, handmade quilts, Mud & Wine Time at a local pottery studio, massages and spa time, Mothers Day gift baskets and more.

The Slippery Pig Brewery also has a kid friendly game room for those who would like to bring their family. The event will include an hourly raffle for gift cards up to $50 value.
