The victim of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of JM Dickinson Road SW and Alpine Lake Road SW in South Kitsap County has been identified as Dennis L. Herold, Jr, a 41-year-old man from Pierce County.

An autopsy was done Oct. 17 by county forensic pathologist Lindsey Harle. The cause of death is blunt force injuries. The manner is accident, the coroner’s office reported Oct. 24.

The coroner’s office also identified the victim of a recreational vehicle fire in Port Orchard Oct. 19.

That was Davis S. Macgregor, a 29-year-old man.

An autopsy was done Oct, 20 by Harle. Cause and manner of death are pending toxicology results and further investigation.
