U.S. Military All-Star Team to host meet-and-greet opportunities

As part of the U.S. Military All-Star tryouts occurring this weekend there will be multiple meet-and-greet opportunities with representatives from the team as well as from the Kitsap BlueJackets and West Coast Guns.

As part of the U.S. Military All-Star tryouts occurring this weekend there will be multiple meet-and-greet opportunities with representatives from the team as well as from the Kitsap BlueJackets and West Coast Guns.

The first will take place Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the Silver City Brewery and Taproom, which will feature BlueJacket Pale Ale this summer.

Following the first event at the Silver City Brewery and Taproom, another meet and greet will take place from 7-9 p.m. at Hot Tequilas.

The final meet and greet will come following the tryouts on Saturday at the Arena Sports Bar and Grille from 7-9 p.m.

The U.S. Military All-Star Team will be hosting tryouts on April 18 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and on April 19 at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey.

Players on this team are an elite collections of players hand-selected from all branches of the military.

Day one of the tryouts at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds will have two sessions. Session one runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and session two from 3-6 p.m.

The second day in Lacey will also have two sessions, with the first beginning at 9 a.m. and going till 12 p.m. The second session is from 1-4 p.m.

These tryouts are open to all active or former military personnel. Interested individuals can register by visiting USMilitaryAllStars.com.

Included in the U.S. Military All-Star tour this summer is a game on June 16 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds against the Kitsap BlueJackets. The team will then face the West Coast Guns at the same location on the 17th prior to squaring off with another MACK Athletics team, the Thurston County Senators, on June 18.
