POULSBO — Two people were arrested during a narcotics search in a home on Finley Road off Totten Road, near the Poulsbo-Suquamish border, the morning of Sept. 18.

A man and woman were taken into custody by Kitsap County Sheriff’s West Sound Narcotics Enforcement Team, according to Detective Sgt. Brian George.

George could not provide any specific information regarding the search because it was still in the early stages as of 10 a.m. He said the home was under surveillance “long enough to develop probable cause” and obtain a search warrant.

Multiple units from the narcotics investigation team, known as WestNET, were on the scene. WestNet is a multi-jurisdictional narcotics task force that covers Kitsap and Mason counties.

“It was a very safe execution of the warrant,” George said.
