One driver sustained nonlife-threatening injuries after a tractor-trailer collided with two unoccupied WSDOT work trucks on the northbound shoulder of State Route 3 at Chico Way, according to Washington State Patrol.

The only person involved in the crash was the driver of the truck. No WSDOT crew members were injured in the collision. The roadway will remain blocked at Chico Way and the right lane of NB State Route 3 remained blocked as of 4 p.m. according to WSP. More updates will be provided as they become available.
