Thief carts away golf clubs from Gold Mountain

KITSAP COUNTY — A burglar carted off 59 golf clubs worth about $20,000 overnight from Gold Mountain Golf Course, Bremerton police reported Oct. 5.

Video surveillance footage provided to detectives show a suspect carrying off golf clubs in two separate trips after breaking a window to the golf course’s pro shop, police said. Detectives said they were unable to get a clear look at the well-covered suspect from the footage.

Bremerton police said the burglary took place overnight Oct. 2-3 at the city-owned course at 7263 W. Belfair Valley Way, Bremerton. Detective Jacob Switzer is asking those with clues about the burglary to call him at 360-473-5843.
