KITSAP COUNTY — The Road Report, supplied by the Kitsap County public works department, highlights new and ongoing projects on county-maintained roads.

Information in the Road Report can change due to weather, material, equipment or crew availability.

South Kitsap

Road maintenance crews are doing regular maintenance work on these routes this week in South Kitsap:

California Avenue SE between SE Mile Hill Drive and E. Chester Road

E. Lasalle Street between Baby Doll Road E. and Peru Avenue E.

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work areas. Minimal delays of five minutes or less are expected.

Construction continues on Bethel Burley Road SE at the intersection with SE Burley Olalla Road. Expect delays of up to five minutes in the immediate vicinity of the work. Flaggers direct motorists through the work area.

A portion of Colchester Drive SE, between Yukon Harbor Road SE and Miracle Mile Drive E., is closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while a new sewer conveyance system is constructed. Local residents are able to access their property during the closure but can expect delays in doing so. A detour route is in place.

Central Kitsap

Road maintenance crews are doing regular maintenance work on these routes this week in Central Kitsap:

Sherman Heights Road between Kent Avenue W. and W. Belfair Valley Road

NW Anderson Hill Road between Seabeck Highway NW and Provost Road NW

Pine Road NE between NE McWilliams and NE Riddell Road

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work areas. Minimal delays of five minutes or less are expected.

Construction continues on Silverdale Way NW from 600 feet south of Byron to Anderson Hill Road. Expect Intermittent delays in the immediate vicinity of the work. Flaggers direct motorists through the work area. All businesses are open during construction but expect some delay. Plan ahead or find alternate routes to minimize inconveniences.

North Kitsap

Road maintenance crews are doing regular maintenance work at this location this week:

Hansville Road NE between NE 360th Street and NE Gust Halvor Road

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work areas. Minimal delays of five minutes or less are expected.

NE West Kingston Road will be open by 8 a.m. on Monday, April 30.

Washington Boulevard NE has a 10,000-pound weight limit in effect.

Upcoming:

July 1 to Sept. 30

A portion of Tracyton Boulevard NW will be temporarily closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic on or after July 1 until September 30. The portion of Tracyton Boulevard NW that will be closed is from a private driveway located about 80 feet west of the existing culvert at MP 1.012, to the private driveway approximately 75 feet east of the existing culvert.The roadway will be open during the Kitsap County Fair and Stampede in August. More information will be made available as the project date draws closer.
