Summer lunch programs coming to Central Kitsap, Bremerton

Martha and Mary Children’s Services will be offering free meals in the morning and afternoon this summer in Silverdale for young people.

A similar program in Bremerton will announce details next month.

The breakfasts and afternoon snacks in Silverdale will be available for people under the age of 18, Monday through Friday at Cougar Valley Elementary School, 13200 Olympic View Road NW, Silverdale.

Meal times are 8 to 9 a.m. for breakfast and an expanded snack from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

The Bremerton School District’s Child Nutrition Services will host a summer meal program. The schedule will be released next month, according to the district website.
