POULSBO — The Kitsap Community and Agricultural Alliance will be screening the documentary Farmers for America at the Slippery Pig Brewery at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 24.

The film is about supporting young farmers during a turning-point in American agriculture. Given the fact that the average U.S. farmer is 60 years old, it is expected that half of American farmland will change hands in the next 12 years.

The Slippery Pig will be donating $1 per pint to the KCAA to further support local farmers and provide education and advocacy for local food.
