The contractor continues to focus on pouring the sidewalks and the curb and gutter throughout the project area this week as well as completing the modular block wall on the west side of Silverdale Way south of Byron Street.Comcast will finish relocating lines by the end of the week. Wave, KPUD, UPN, and PSE are scheduled to start relocating lines over the next two months. CenturyLink has completed relocating their lines.

Cascade Gas will install a new service lateral on Lowell Street and retiring an existing lateral on Silverdale Way beginning Friday, April 6.

All businesses are open during construction.

Traffic is impacted by alternating one-lane traffic on Silverdale Way throughout the project limits.

The southbound shoulder on Silverdale Way (from Lowell Street to Byron Street) remains closed so utilities have access to the JUT.Closures will be on Carlton Street and Byron Street as crews pour sidewalks and curb and gutter.

There is no work scheduled for this Saturday, April 7.
