Sewage spill prompts no-contact advisory for Port Washington Narrows

Health District estimates 1,500 to 2,000 gallons of sewage spilled from Seaglass Village Apartments

A no-contact advisory was issued July 18 for the eastern shore of the Port Washington Narrows, between the Warren Avenue Bridge and the Manette Bridge, due to sewage spill from the Seaglass Village Apartments, according to the Kitsap Public Health District.

The advisory is expected to last for three days, from July 18 to July 21. An estimated 1,500 to 2,000 gallons of sewage was spilled according to KPHD. The public is advised to avoid contact with water in the affected area. The Health District has posted signs at public access points in the area of the spill.
