Screws receives Operator of the Year Award

Randy Screws, acting plant manager of the South Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility in the West Sound Utility District, was presented the 2013 Operator of the Year Award for Western Washington by the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association.

Randy Screws, acting plant manager of the South Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility in the West Sound Utility District, was presented the 2013 Operator of the Year Award for Western Washington by the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association.

Screws has worked for West Sound UD since 1999, serving as a plant operator.

The award acknowledges his outstanding job performance in the management of the South Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility and his experimental, developmental and innovative accomplishments.

The South Kitsap Water Reclamation Facility is jointly owned by the City of Port Orchard and West Sound UD.
