Saturday and Sunday night State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge work postponed

POULSBO – Night work scheduled Saturday and Sunday, April 7-8, on the State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge has been cancelled due to predictions of inclement weather. Work and closures scheduled Friday night, April 6, will take place as planned.

From 10 p.m. Friday, April 6, until 4 a.m. Saturday, April 7, drivers can expect intermittent closures of the State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge. During those hours, crews will occasionally open the bridge to traffic to ease congestion. The openings are unscheduled and performed as workloads allow.

Weather permitting, crews will resume intermittent night closures from 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 9-10, until 4 a.m. each following day. The night work allows crews to continue progress on a project to replace mechanical systems that open and close the drawspan.
