Saints Car Club helps during the holidays

PORT ORCHARD — The Saints Car Club stepped up this holiday season to serve more than 1,200 families with turkeys and food items at the South Kitsap Helpline Thanksgiving food distribution on Nov. 20-21.

Club members provided more than 200 volunteer hours at the Port Orchard Armory, where the food was distributed.

They will repeat the service again Dec. 21-22 for Helpline by distributing food and toys for children during the Christmas season.

The Saints Car Club, based in Port Orchard, participates in car shows throughout the region.
