Port Orchard Boulevard will be closed for all traffic headed northbound toward downtown Port Orchard through Wednesday, Sept. 7.

The roadway is closed due to a sinking sewer manhole that is in danger of breaking the gravity sewer main, according to the city’s public works department.

Northbound traffic will detour down Sidney Avenue. Southbound traffic will remain open.
