A Poulsbo man died in a single-vehicle car accident June 9 in Mason County.

The accident occurred around 2:40 p.m. on westbound Highway 108 near mile marker seven. A Washington State Patrol press memo said the car veered to the right in a curve and left the roadway, colliding with the embankment of a creek.

WSP identified the victim as 19-year-old Casey Dickerson, who died in transit to a medical facility. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
