Poulsbo Noon Lions Club will host 46th annual Viking Fest Lions Pancake Breakfast on May 19-20

at the North Kitsap High School cafeteria

POULSBO — The Poulsbo Noon Lions Club will host its 46th annual Viking Fest Lions Pancake Breakfast on May 19-20:

7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, at the North Kitsap High School cafeteria.

The breakfast includes all-you-can-eat pancakes with eggs, sausage, milk, juice, coffee and tea. The breakfast is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Purchase tickets at the door. Net proceeds will go to scholarships for North Kitsap area high school graduates. Plenty of free parking is available.

Lions Club members will have a collection box at the breakfast so that community members can bring in hearing aids, used eyeglasses, including prescription and nonprescription sunglasses, and non-prescription “readers” no longer needed that will be used to help people with vision or hearing needs.

The Poulsbo Lions Club, which has more than 90 members, meets at 12:15 p.m. every Thursday at the First Lutheran Church. The Evening Pride branch meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Thursdays at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church.

The Lions club aidsand fundraises for the blind and visually impaired, the hearing impaired and those with diabetes. The club has a strong commitment to community service and serving youth throughout the world.
