Poulsbo cops arrest suspected RV thief, find stolen goods, meth

On six separate occasions, entry was forced into the new RV’s at two dealerships.

POULSBO — Since last September, the Poulsbo Police Department has been working to solve a series of thefts at two local RV Dealers.

On six separate occasions, entry was forced into the new RV’s and a variety of items were removed. The items stolen, damage to the RV’s and cost of repairs between the two dealerships were estimated at $56,000.

In their investigation, officers located surveillance video that captured the suspects and their vehicles in the act of committing the robberies. Last weekend, a Poulsbo Police officer located a vehicle which appeared to match one of the vehicles from the surveillance footage. While conducting an investigative stop of the vehicle, the officer discovered information which ultimately led to the arrest of one of the suspects believed to be involved in at least one of the thefts.

On the morning of April 11, Poulsbo Police detectives served a search warrant on the suspect’s vehicle, finding stolen items from both dealerships as well as some methamphetamine.

According to a press release from the Poulsbo Police Department, detectives are continuing their investigation to locate additional stolen property and determine if any other suspects were involved.
