Point No Point lighthouse competing for grant | News brief

The Point No Point lighthouse in Hansville is among 25 Puget Sound-area landmarks competing for a slice of $1 million in preservation money.

The grant money is being offered by the Seattle-Puget Sound Partners in Preservation Initiative, a joint program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express.

The public can vote for a landmark online at www.preservationnation.org. The winner of the vote is guaranteed to receive money. Voting is open through May 12.
