Our industrious Kingston Friends of the Library will host a Book Sale at the Kingston Farmers Market July 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Find a book to treasure.

Also at the Farmers Market, you can listen to our youth services librarian or a library volunteer reading books during Story Hour around lunch time. Remember, youth up through grade 12 who read for 10 hours this summer will earn a new paperback book.

Be sure to sign up for summer reading and attend one of our many entertaining family programs at the library in July:

Kingston Library
– Caspar Baby Pants:  July 10, 1:30 p.m. Cool, authentic pop music for children of all ages.
– Kingston Writers Group: July 10 and 24, 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a friendly, supportive atmosphere to encourage writing.
– Morning Storytime & Craft: July 11, 18, and 25, 10:30 a.m. Come for a morning full of reading, singing and crafting.
– Kingston Friends of the Library Book Sale: July 21, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kingston Farmer’s Market next to the ferry dock.
– Eric Haines: One Man Band: July 24, 1:30 p.m. Dixieland jazz with a bass drum, banjo and plenty of bells and whistles.
– Pokemon Club: July 25, 3:30 p.m. Meet others who share your passion for Pokemon. 
– How To Download:  Call us to make an appointment for a tutoring session at the library on downloading library books onto your device.

Little Boston Library
– Afternoon Storytime and Craft: July 11, 18 and 25 at 1:30 p.m.
– Adult Crafternoon: July 11, 18, and 25 at 2:30 p.m.- One World Taiko Drummers: July 17, 10:30 a.m. Contemporary style of Japanese drumming that incorporates dynamic movement with pounding percussion.
– Monday Movie Matinee: July 23, 2 p.m. We will be showing a family-friendly film and providing popcorn. 
– Johnny Bregar: July 31, 10:30 a.m. Rootsy, jazzy, funky, bluesy tunes for the whole family.
– On July 4, all Kitsap Regional Library branches will be closed for Independence Day. There will be no book group meeting at Little Boston in July. Check our website www.krl.org, or call us at (360) 297-2670 for more information.
