NKSD art students do well at regionals

Several Kingston and North Kitsap high school students recently took home awards at the Regional Art Show.

The following student artwork will move on to the State Superintendent Art Show in Olympia later this spring:

Noah Walter, Kingston High School: “Castelvecchio,” watercolor and pen; “Brume Matinale — Morning Haze,” watercolor and pen; “Overhead”, watercolor and pen.

Elaina Soboleski, North Kitsap High School: “Oblivion,” acrylic

Eli Shelton, KHS: “Calmness vs. Anxiety,” watercolor

The following students were awarded $2,000 scholarships to Central Washington University:

Shelton: “Calmness vs. Anxiety”

Walter: “Castelvecchio”

Soboleski: “Oblivion”
