National center seeks public’s help in locating missing Silverdale teen

SILVERDALE — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is asking for the public’s help in locating a Silverdale teen last seen on Oct. 4.

Vanessa Teel is described as a 17-year-old white female, with auburn hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches and weighing 140 pounds. She has “Mi vida loca” tattooed on her left arm. When she was last seen, she had braces on her teeth.

According to the center, she may travel to Portland, Oregon.

The center asks that anyone with information about Vanessa’s whereabouts call 911; 1-800-843-5678; or the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, 360-308-5400.
