Miss Viking Fest 2018 returns April 28

Meet the 2018 contestants for Miss Viking Fest and Little Miss Viking Fest

POULSBO — The Miss Viking Fest & Little Miss Viking Fest Pageant Dinner returns Clearwater Casino Resort on Saturday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m.

Viking Fest president, Kathi Forsee said “The newly crowned Miss Viking Fest will receive $1,500 for college, the two runners-up will each receive $750. In addition, a $1,000 Doug McKay Memorial Scholarship will be awarded based on the contestant’s community service platform. The Little Miss Viking Fest contestants each receive gift baskets.”

Miss Viking Fest and her court will spend a year representing Poulsbo and Viking Fest at festivals in the region, assisting the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce and non-profits at events, and doing their community service projects.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased either directly from this year’s contestants or by emailing missvikingfest@aol.com.

Tickets are $25.00 and include dinner and a no host bar, children 12 and under are $15.00. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Miss Viking Fest Contestant Alexis is a 16-year-old high school sophomore at North Kitsap High School. She is involved in choir, art club, youth group, and enjoys playing with her animals. Alexis is sponsored by John L Scott Real Estate, and Sharon Schmid . She is the daughter of Joe Duncan of Bremerton and Jessica Duncan of Poulsbo

She is involved in OMEA choir, NKHS Aurora Women’s choir, yoga, and enjoys writing and swimming. Brittany is sponsored by 2 Brothers Deli, and Advanced Rentals. She is the daughter of David and Debora Walsworth of Poulsbo.

Danielle is sponsored by Logan Development, LLC, and Kitsap Propane. She is the daughter of Matt and Kari McKinsey of Poulsbo.
