Mile Hill Drive Godfather’s Pizza closing

The pizzeria will reopen as a Westside Pizza toward the end of November.

The Godfather’s Pizza on Mile Hill Drive is closing. It will reopen as a Westside Pizza in November.

The restaurant in Port Orchard was one of the last Godfather’s Pizza in Western Washington. Having closed several locations in the last year, there are only three Godfather’s Pizza restaurants left on this side of the state: Auburn, Federal Way and Tacoma.

The former management of the establishment refused to comment and declined to take calls.

Westside Pizza franchise owner Tessa Mahoney plans to renovate the building, replacing the carpet with wood floors and repainting. She will be moving from Enumclaw to Port Orchard to run the business.

The Port Orchard restaurant will be the 28th location for Westside Pizza. The fast-growing chain already has locations in Poulsbo, Kingston and Bremerton.
