Manette Bridge reopens after 4-day closure

BREMERTON — Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews have completed maintenance that temporarily closed the Manette Bridge in Bremerton. The bridge closed Aug. 20 for four days. At approximately 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, the span reopened to vehicular traffic.

Maintenance crews installed a protective sealant on the driving surface of the bridge. The preservation work helps protect the bridge from the elements and helps extend the bridge’s useful life, according to WDOT.
