In custody: sexual assault suspect voluntarily surrenders himself to officers

Anthony Moffett, wanted for an alleged sexual assault, is now in custody after he walked into Kitsap County Jail reception around 3:30 p.m., June 18 and voluntarily surrendered, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

Moffett, 29, was booked into jail on a warrant charge of rape in the second degree with bail set at $150,000. He will make an appearance in Kitsap County Superior Court June 19.

A Kitsap County Superior Court warrant was issued June 11 for the arrest of Anthony Marsalis Moffett. The investigation involves a female victim and Moffett, who both knew each other.
