Tragedy struck in Bremerton late March 14 after one man was found dead and another injured in what is believed to be an attempted murder-suicide.

Police were called to the 5300 block of Pineridge Drive around 11:30 p.m., where officials say they heard a man yelling for help from inside the house.

Police entered the home to find the victim with gunshot wounds to the abdomen. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.

The suspect, believed to be the victim’s 30-year-old son, was found dead inside the home after the victim said he turned the gun on himself.
