Man arrested in Bremerton after allegedly conducting a series of burglaries

Burglaries included stealing packages off porches and vehicle prowling

A man was arrested Wednesday in Bremerton after allegedly stealing numerous items during a series of 10 burglaries recently.

According to the incident report, Andrew Ramirez admitted to police that he had conducted 10 burglaries comprised of vehicle prowling and stealing packages off of porches. The items that Ramirez allegedly stole included dozens of military and DOD identification cards, various school supplies belonging to Bremerton School District, an orange bike jacket, a kitchen faucet, a white dress, a lunch box, a tool pouch, three checks from one individual, and more.

Police also found heroin, drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale in his truck, the incident report states. Ramirez was transported to Kitsap County Jail and was booked for two counts of third-degree theft, possession of heroin, possession of stolen property, second-degree theft, trafficking stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
