Kiwanis Club accepting SK scholarship applications

The deadline is April 6

PORT ORCHARD — The Kiwanis Club of Port Orchard is soliciting scholarship applications from South Kitsap School District seniors attending South Kitsap High School, Discovery Alternative High School or Explorer Academy.

Scholarship applications are due by April 6. Students must submit their applications electronically on Washboard.org. Additional information is available from the South Kitsap High School Career Center.

Each year, the Kiwanis Club of Port Orchard supports South Kitsap School District students in a variety of ways, including a scholarship program. This year, the club said is has approximately $20,000 in scholarships available for students to aid in their education.
