The Kitsap Rifle & Revolver Club located on Seabeck Highway NW in Central Kitsap County will host its 20th Annual Courage Classic Charity 3 Gun Championship shooting match this weekend, Aug. 17-18.

It features teams of civilians, law enforcement and military members from all over the region moving and shooting at various targets in numerous stages in order to gain points.

The Courage Classic began in 1994 benefiting worthwhile charities while bringing law enforcement, military and civilian personnel together in an effort to build community cohesiveness and camaraderie through good hearted fun and competitive team spirit.

Among the beneficiaries of the Courage Classic are wounded Marines and sailors returning from the Persian Gulf, through the Combat Casualty Assistance Campaign of the Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society.
