Kitsap Fast Ferries to start Saturday sailings in May

Starting May 4, Kitsap Fast Ferries will operate on a summer sailing schedule through September

Starting Saturday, May 4, Kitsap Fast Ferries will operate on a summer sailing schedule through the end of September which will include Saturday crossings.

On Saturdays, the Kingston-Seattle route will see 16 sailings and the Bremerton-Seattle route will have 20. The weekday schedule will remain the same for both routes.

This signifies the first summer schedule for the Kingston-Seattle route. Kitsap Transit will be adding bus service on Saturdays as well, in an effort to reduce vehicle congestion in downtown Kingston and encourage transit use.

In addition, the Port Orchard foot ferry will also operate summer service on Saturdays, starting May 4. The additional service will start at 8 p.m. from Port Orchard, with the last departure from Bremerton at 11:45 p.m. The crossing is approximately 12 minutes.
